i love when i come across a gem... someplace that i know other people have discovered but gives me that sense of wonderment upon entering... i met a friend last night to see some live music. i had no idea what i was getting into but i figured what the hell... i could sit on my couch on a freezing friday night or see what the night had in store... JALOPY. this little place tucked away on columbia street next to the brooklyn battery tunnel is a GEM! one would never stumble across it as the cheese stands alone ( or at least next to a great bar, moonshine... ) but nevertheless...alone in an area that one doesn't travel oftenon foot...

art shows, live music, movies, rent an instrument, take some lessons...

this site david & goliath is super fun... check out their products ( i got a great top as a gift ) but what i can't get enough of is the arcade games... having a bad day? throw rocks at stupid boys! help goodbye kitty get across the road... i gotta go... i made it to the next level and i can't get enough - it cracks me up!
